Indian Rupee ETF
There are currently two Indian Rupee (INR) currency ETFs that trade on US exchanges. The WisdomTree Dreyfus Indian Rupee ETF is sponsored by WisdomTree and it trades on the NYSE Arca exchange under symbol (ICN). It is sub-advised by the Dreyfus Corporation.
The other Indian Rupee ETF is actually and ETN or exchange traded note, and it is the Market Vectors Rupee/USD ETN sponsored by VanEck Global and is part of the Market Vectors family of ETFs and ETNs. The ETN is issued by Morgan Stanley. It trades on the NYSE Arca exchange under symbol INR, which also happens to be the forex currency trading symbol of the Indian Rupee - example (INR/USD)
